Questions about access models, data, deployment, licenses, and accounts.

Access and pricing

Are all products priced the same way?

No. Each product has its own pricing model: buy once, subscription, free, or managed. Check each product page for details.

How does geo-based pricing work?

We use local purchasing power parity to offer fair pricing in supported regions (e.g., IDR for Indonesia).

Why do some products use subscriptions?

Different products have different infrastructure needs. Products like MetNotive, eidosSec, and eidosReign run on maintained backends — subscription covers that cost. Other products are buy-once because they run entirely on your hardware.

Data and deployment

Do you access or store my data?

For products that run locally, your data stays on your hardware. We do not inspect, store, or have access to your content. Some products (like eidosSec or MetNotive) run on their own backends — check each product's privacy terms.

What kind of internet connection is required?

It depends on the product. Some require internet for license activation or specific tasks, but many core features work offline.

Can I use my own server or VPS?

Yes. For products that support self-hosting, you can install on your own physical servers or a VPS you control.

Is this suitable for non-technical users?

Some products are designed for technical users (CLI tools, self-hosted), while others are end-user friendly (desktop apps, mobile apps). Each product page states its target audience.

License and account

What happens if I change hardware?

For buy-once products with hardware-bound licenses, you can transfer your license to new hardware. We support fair license recovery.

Is EidosStack available in multiple languages?

Yes, we support English and Bahasa Indonesia.

What happens if the company disappears?

For locally-installed products, your software continues to run. You own the instance on your machine.
